The Marcellus United Methodist Church has been inspiring and equipping people in the Marcellus area for almost two hundred years to grow to their full potential by receiving the abundant and eternal life that Jesus Christ died and rose again to make available to all people.
John 10:10 (TM) Jesus proclaimed: The thief (devil) is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so all people can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

Mark 12:29-31 (NLT) Jesus answered, "The most important commandment is this: 'Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second commandment is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these."
Matthew 25:40 (CEV) Jesus said, Whenever you feed the hungry, gave drink to the thirsty, welcomed a stranger, clothed the naked, cared for the sick, or visited the prisoners in jail-whenever you shared love with any person, no matter how unimportant they seemed-you actually did it for Me.

Our church is helping people to grow in love with God-through Worship, Prayer, and Bible Study.
LOVE PEOPLE
We are helping people to grow in love with other people-through Sunday School Classes, Home Studies, and Friendship events.
SERVE CHRIST IN THE WORLD
We are serving Christ in the world-by sharing Jesus' love in practical way-helping to feed the hungry in Marcellus and Syracuse, helping Sudanese refugees build new lives, helping families in Louisiana rebuild destroyed homes, and helping to provide medical care in Nepal.
